NATIONAL PARTNERSHIP FOR WOMEN AND FAMILIES
Location: Washington, DC
Architect: SKB Architecture
$800,000

National Partnership for Women and Families is a repeat client for Regency. We originally built their space in 2001 and have performed several follow-up projects for NPWF since then. The main conference room underscores the design of the space. The room is set on a curved glass wall system that is highlighted by a curved drywall ceiling band with recessed specialty lighting which transitions into custom four-by-four acoustical ceiling panels. The use of color in the room also emphasizes its design: the table is a red shade, the flooring is blue, the walls are yellow and the glass features a vinyl film with a green tint. The reception area presents a very warm feeling with the cherry wood panels surrounding a backlit panel system which defines the seating area.
