The Project Team of Staubach, OTJ Architects, KTA
Group and Regency have worked together to
successfully complete the relocation of NCTA to 25
Massachusetts Avenue. It is a 55,000 SF project on
the 1st two floors featuring a grand reception area,
an internal staircase with metal balustrades and
glass rails, and a 3” raised floor system for the
data center area. The walls around the staircase
features built in plasma screens.
The most striking scope of the work is the 3,800 SF
two-story theatre. Regency removed the existing slab
for the theatre and constructed the theatre as an
isolated room (for audio and vibration). The general
office space is highlighted by painted MDF panels on
the corridor walls, stone flooring, glass and
decorative lighting. |
