The expansion of GPU's existing space combines the traditional use of wood with the more modern design of movable glass walls. Although the overall size of this spae is relatively modest, it utilizes the versatility of Dorma's
sliding wall and door system to create an open environment. The main conference room is created with etched glass panels on three sides. The front wall and doors can be stacked to permit larger functions to flow smoothly.
To complement this feature, the rear wall of the conference room is constructed of beech paneling with diamond shaped cherry insets to highlight the design. Additionally, this construction was accomplished while the tenant occupied the space. |
