Superintendent
A Superintendent’s duties include constant communication with the
project manager and subcontractors. It is constant coordination and
scheduling of the project. Superintendents observe and communicate with
subcontractors to monitor work performance, progress, and productivity.
Superintendents act as the liaison between engineers, subcontractors, and
architects to ensure construction compliance with drawings and
specifications. Superintendents also enforce safety and quality control
policies.
Project
Assistant
A Project Assistant supports the project engineer and the project manager
through all phases of project from inital bidding process through the completion
of the project. Project assistants oversee the administrative aspects of each project
ranging from releasing bid documents to subcontractors during the bid process, to creating
Operation Manuals for the clients at the conclusion of the project. This is the perfect
position for a highly organized person who seeks a fast paced and challenging job and is
looking for growth potenial within an organization.
Project
Manager
A Project Manager is in charge of supervising all aspects of a construction
project. They are responsible for ensuring contractual obligations are
fulfilled on schedule. Position demands constant communication with
clients, architects and subcontractors. Overall quality and cost control of
each project is a high priority. Duties also include submittals, procurement
budgeting and scheduling of projects.
Project
Engineer
A project engineer acts as a key support to the project manager. The engineer
performs essential project tasks such as processing submittals, assisting with
the subcontractor procurement process, subcontractor trade coordination and assisting the project
manager through all phases of the project. The position is intended as a training ground for individuals to
gain the experience and knowledge required to become a Project Manager.
